Henry Prevette

HENRY PREVETTE- I am sophmore at App. State U in the mountains of western North Carolina. My brother (Nate) and I grew up in Sudan (North Africa) where our parents served as missionaries and relief/development workers. I grew up watching and participating in my parents work in Africa as Dad drilled wells in the desert and Mom served the physical needs of many people through her medical knowledge. I attended a christian boarding school (RVA)in Kenya for highschool. That is where the Lord first began tugging on my heart to devote my life to serving and providing for the needs of others. In 11th grade I began making regular visits to the nearby hospital and down to the IDP (Internally Displaced Peoples) camps in the Great Rift Valley of Kenya. My eyes were opened to the people's dire need for water, adequate shelter, clothing, education, and hope. The needs are still there 2 years later and I along with my brother and some other Christian brothers have the call to go. Its time to CHASE THE CALL.
